2021 Update
We do NOT currently have any puppies. (4/13/21)
We may be breeding in July 2021.
Our Waiting list is very long, however feel free to send your contact information for updates.  We know that it's been hard to find quality bred BMD's, the pandemic has caused a surge in puppy requests and we just can't keep up, ethically.

Two Titles in ONE Day for Miss Jane: NEW Champion & Rally Novice!
Introducing:
Grand Champion Heirborn Heavenly Bawdy RN  "Jane"
Jane came to us in the summer of 2014 as a 1 year old.  She has been a simple delight to have in our home and our life.  There is nothing more endearing than her big brown eyes gazing up waiting for a kernel of popcorn, and her drive in the field is something else. We decided to breed her this spring, so she's ready for duck season come fall!  From a conformation standpoint, she is truly flawless in our opinion.  I've never had a dog that I can't pick apart and try to address some improvement that we hope to gain by breeding.. she really is that awesome! She is very driven to work, and could use a little more extension on her side gait: Those are the reasons we feel Bridger will be such a great compliment to her.  He has the most elegant side gait and a quieter 'soul' that will bring the best of both these dogs to their offspring.  First and foremost though, she is a wonderful companion to our children, us and gets along great with all members of our 4 legged family!

(Shortly after this picture was taken, Jane mopped up the competition (including beating Bridger on several occasions and completed her GRAND Championship!)

Bronze Grand Champion Heirborn Who'll Stop the Reign "Bridger"
RBIS, Multi BISS
Bridger at a mere 13 months finished his Championship!
In 2013 We were fortunate to meet an amazing breeder of Flat Coat Retrievers, a few short weeks later we had our first boy.  Bridger came to us at 6 months old and has never stopped surprising us since then.  His first show out at 6 months old, he picked up a 5 point major!  Since then it's been a rollercoaster ride of amazing wins, defeats and overall just fun! He's such a kind 'old' soul we like to call him.  Very intellegent, balanced in temperament and so very willing to work. He has produced several very promising litters.  Recently a young daughter of his found a homicide victim in a landfill.  (She is currently being trained as  search and rescue dog).   Sadly we lost our boy in November of 2020 to cancer.  He was loved to his very last moment and there's a teenager in our home that lost his best buddy.  We miss you B, but will never forget all the love you gave us!

Truuli is having quite the show run!
Truuli started her show career at the 2013 National Specialty in Colorado.  Since, there's been no stopping this girl.  With very limited showing she picked up 4 majors to finish her CH. Then has gone on to complete her Grand and Bronze Grand Championship.  Winning BOS at multiple Specialty shows with very tough competition.  We welcomed a singleton puppy from her in February 2015 (Tank) and a beautiful litter in the Spring of 2016. (Mozza, Nellek & Shirley.. our show babies)  Truuli is the kindest, most gentle and loyal 'people' dog you'll meet.  She just wants to be loved and pet. Truuli (and her son Tank) currently live with a guardian family in Woodbury where they are doted on and loved!

Welcome to our Home~

We are so pleased to share with you the beautiful and versatile dogs that we call our friends and companions. Our goal is to provide any prospective puppy owner with all the information they need to make an informed decision before adding one of these wonderful dogs to their family.  Our dogs are members of our family and we truly believe that a well bred dog will only enhance your home.

Considering our involvement in the veterinary community, we all too often see the results of poor breeding.  Either dogs that have numerous health problems and/or disposition concerns.  It was a goal of ours to get involved in breeds that we felt needed as much support as possible.

WindSong strives to breed for longevity, beauty and disposition.  Before we consider a Bernese Mountain Dog for our breeding program, we carefully research the longevity and the health of the lines to make sure that it meets our criteria.  We do this so that we can assure our clients to the best of our ability that their new family member will be with them for the long haul.   The puppies that we have for sale were bred with the intention of improving the bred.

We are not a kennel.  Our dogs play on grass in the yard, sleep on the couch or in our beds.  We are a family working hard to provide and share with you this magnificent and gentle breed.  Our goal is for your family to enjoy a Berner as much as ours.  Our dogs enjoy spending time with the family inside and outside of our home. Our Berner's are our number one companions during the winter months and love joining us for chores, as any chance to enjoy a snowbank is of great interest to them.
